At Seed Time Harvest, our drop-off program runs from 9 am to 2 pm, immersing kids in the wonders of organic gardening, animal care, and cooking with fresh, local ingredients. A $75 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your child's place. A pay-link will be sent to you, or you may reserve funds through EMA. Join us for an unforgettable adventure in nurturing growth and fostering a love for the farm! Join us for a transformative educational experience where learning comes alive amidst the beauty of nature. At Seed-Time-Harvest, we believe in cultivating a deep connection with God's creation while equipping young people with the skills and knowledge to live a more sustainable and fulfilling life. Our Focus: Sustainable Living: We'll explore the wonders of permaculture, learn to grow our own food in a way that honors the Earth, and discover the joy of composting and natural living. Homesteading Skills: From bread baking using ancient grains to crafting nourishing soaps with natural ingredients, you'll gain valuable hands-on skills that connect you to the rhythm of the seasons. Creative Expression: Unleash your inner artist! We'll delve into the world of multimedia art using as many natural elements as possible, jewelry making, simple sewing projects, and more. Biblical Worldview: Throughout the program, we'll explore God's design for creation and discover how our faith informs our choices and actions. We'll find inspiration in the Bible and learn to live in harmony with God's plan. Entrepreneurial Spirit: Children will actively develop skills, create crafts, and participate in entrepreneurial projects throughout the season. Culminating the season, you'll have the opportunity to develop and launch a small business and participate in a local farmers market. A Day in the Life at Seed-Time-Harvest Morning: We will begin our day with prayer and reviewing plan for the day. Farm Work: Engage in hands-on activities like gardening, tending to animals, and learning about sustainable farming practices. Skill-Building Workshops: Participate in engaging workshops on bread baking, soap making, and multimedia art. By the end of the season, you will: Gain a deeper appreciation for God's creation and your role as stewards of the Earth. Develop valuable life skills in sustainable living, homesteading, and entrepreneurship. Cultivate your creativity through multimedia art. Build lasting friendships and a strong sense of community.
